Andreina Perez Hein was the featured guest speaker at the General Building Contractors Association’s (GBCA) annual reception held at the Union League of Philadelphia. The members-only event celebrated the culmination of the GBCA’s 133rd year of work to advance the union commercial, industrial, and institutional construction industry. The GBCA is committed to serving its members as the leader in labor relations, education, advocacy, safety, and networking opportunities.
Attendees included construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, union business agents, and professional service providers within the construction industry. Andreina highlighted the progress Everybody Builds had made in its inaugural year and shared how attendees could contribute to the organization’s future, emphasizing the importance of developing pre-apprenticeship partnerships as a means to bolster a skilled, diverse workforce in the construction industry.
